Pav Bhaji buns with Cheese

Pav Bhaji is a dish that is definitely worth trying. The best street food that cannot be resisted. Pav Bhaji along with cheese is the best combination ever. So, here is this amazing recipe of Pav Bhaji buns with cheese that you must definitely try.


Ingredients:
  • 4 Pavs
  • 4 Cheese slices
  • 3 finely chopped medium onions
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons Pav Bhaji masala
  • 3 teaspoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 cups tomato puree
  • 6 medium potatoes- boiled, peeled and mashed
  • Salt as required
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves


Making of Pav Bhaji:
  1. Take a pan and heat some oil and butter in it. Once heated, add chopped onions and saute well. Now, add ginger-garlic paste and saute again for about a minute.
  2. Now, add tomato puree, potatoes, Pav Bhaji masala and mix well. Let the mixture cook for about a minute and 1/2 cups of water. Give a good stir and let the bhaji cook until the desired consistency is achieved.
  3. Add salt as per the taste and mix well. Garnish the bhaji with finely chopped coriander leaves and few drops of lemon. Now, switch off the gas.
  4. Take a non-stick pan and heat it on a low flame. Meanwhile, cut the Pavs from between. Once the pan is heated, place the pav on the pan and cook till crisp on both the sides.
  5. Now take a Pav and place one cheese slice on the one inner side of the pan. Then place the bhaji on it and serve it hot. Yummy Pav Bhaji buns with cheese are ready to be relished with the family.
Note:

  1. You can use other vegetables like peas, cabbage, capsicum, etc. if you wish to.
  2. You can solely use butter or oil rather than combining both.
  3. You can also add other ingredients or spices of your choice and give a different taste to it.
